Networking is a good career tool. In networking you can meet different kinds of people who are from different fields. They tell you the stories about succeeding. They teach you how to catch every chance. So networking plays an important role in your career life.Last Friday, I was invited to attend to the ALPFA Annual Closing Ceremony which was held in world financial center. They also invited the company’s campus recruiter and staffs to this ceremony. This was a direct way to learn more about the company and its culture. It provided more opportunities to meet the internal staffs. The campus recruiter gave a speech, he shared his story with us. When he was a staff in the NY company, he wanted to transfer to marketing department, because he was so interested in marketing. One day when he knew the marketing director would visit his department, so he caught this chance and recommend himself. His words deeply affected the director. And then he had an interview. No doubt his performance was so excellent that made him pass the interview and promote to marketing manager. He used his example to proof that impossible was nothing. It depended on how much effort you made.I think if you always prepare well, you will more close to success. Through networking you will meet many people and learn their philosopher about the job, you can get their business cards and communicate with them all the time. Networking creates chance and makes you succeed in the future.
