Big East Career Fair

Last Friday I went to a Big East Career Fair which was held in Madison Square Garden.It was the first time that I attended a career fair in America, and it was a good experience to feel the difference between the US and China.
On that day,I was dressed in business coat to attend this job fair. There were more than 100 companies there.Each company had its own desk, which showed companies' name and opening positions on the poster. Two or three professional staffs were sitting or standing,they are introducing their companies and answering questions about the company and positions to our students.Also I found the most interesting thing.Each company placed their companies' own products on the desk,such as bags,pens,cups and so on.All of them were marked with the company's name.I think this is a good selling skill.You will not only remember the company through its staff but also remember the company by these interesting products.This is so different than in China.The job market is so limited this year.Many graduating students came to this job fair to look for a job.It seemed that job demand was greater than job availiability,so jobs were too competitive to apply for.Anyway,it was a good experience to attend this job fair in the US. At the same time I can learn many things and know how to prepare myself well when I am looking for a job in the future.
